My verdict

I’d buy one VOLTRA to add a motor-driven cable to an existing rack. For a freestanding setup with two cables and a screen, I’d choose Gym Monster 3 and pick the package around the bench I needed. ANCORE would be my choice for lighter cable work when I wanted a mechanical unit with no power supply.

Where will each exercise start?

A portable unit changes direction by changing its mounting position. Plan the high and low positions you will use most. The unit may be easy to carry while the support remains a permanent part of the room.

GM3’s open platform measures 69 × 122 cm, and the machine stands 185 cm high. Ultra expands to 126 × 166 × 227 cm with its arms fitted. Choose Ultra for the overhead pulling arrangement when you have the room to use it.

The software bill depends on the system

VOLTRA’s core operation does not require an app or paid subscription; Beyond+ is optional.
GM3 includes its core workouts and training history. Wellness subscriptions are optional.
Tonal 2 requires an initial 12-month membership commitment, plus professional installation. The linked offer is a US purchase route.
For self-directed training, look at selecting loads and moving between exercises. A class library has less value if you rarely follow classes.

Treat a used connected machine as a separate purchase

Vitruvian Trainer+ remains relevant to owners and used buyers, but the checked sources do not establish a new-stock buying route. Its membership terms have also changed. A used quote needs the actual serial number, working app connection and transferable features attached to that unit.
