Arcadia is the broader addition to an existing gym
Two 170 lb stacks feed Arcadia’s adjustable 2:1 cables, giving a nominal 85 lb, or 38.6 kg, per handle. Thirty-two trolley positions support high, middle and low cable work. If the rack or Smith already handles the main lifts, those two independently adjustable sides add something distinct.
The stack upgrade raises nominal output to 110 lb, or 49.9 kg, per handle. Buy that upgrade for an exercise that needs it. Accessory work within the standard range gives no reason to pay for the extra plates immediately.
Specify the complete PRIME station
The PRODIGY HLP Single Stack links a fixed high pulley and an adjustable column to one 350 lb stack. The profile covers the 2:1 version. A pulldown seat, row footplate and leg roller are separate options; the appeal is the completed arrangement for your chosen pulls. Request resistance at the outlet you intend to use rather than treating the full stack mass as the load at every handle.
- Prioritise the pulldown seat and restraint if supported pulldowns are the purpose of the purchase.
- Include the row footplate when it completes your intended seated-row position.
- Leave other attachment options out until they have a defined job in the room.
The narrower machine needs more height and depth
Arcadia’s frame is about 140 cm wide, 91 cm deep and 205 cm tall. PRIME is 125 cm wide, 122 cm deep and 234 cm tall, before the working space around its attachments. PRIME’s narrower front therefore does not make it the smaller installation in every direction.
Gym and Fitness provides an Australian Arcadia listing. The PRIME route shown is its US manufacturer, with a shipping quote required outside the contiguous US. For an Australian buyer without a strong preference for PRIME’s station layout, Arcadia is the more direct purchase. The specialist station deserves the extra buying work when its layout is the reason you want it.
